Sachem (Atalopedes campestris)
These spectacular little skippers are golden colored with brown edging. They enjoy spending most of their time in sunny environments that offer many nectar sources. It is not uncommon to see many Sachems visiting the same flower. Like most skippers, they are quick fliers which make it difficult to follow them. These small wonders will be a highlight in your gardens.
