White Clover (Trifolium repens)

This small perennial plant has a lovely flower head that contains up to 100 tiny whitish pink flowers. It is common to see bees visiting this flower for nectar; clover is very popular in honey production for bees. White Clover is also very useful to many other types of wildlife such as birds and mammals for food. It is also planted with grasses in pastures for grazing livestock. It is a quick grower and spreads easily via stolons. White Clovers would be a lovely addition for wildlife gardens.
