Arrowwood Viburnum (Viburnum dentatum)
Copyright: Diane P. Brooks
The Viburnum shrub is versatile and stunning. Its leafy green is accentuated by the round white blooms, which resemble soft snowballs or little heads of cauliflower.
The boastful Viburnum blooms are followed by a small fruit sought after by birds. The Viburnum leaf is also food for the larvae of some butterfly species. This shrub is an excellent all-around plant that grows nearly anywhere in many conditions.
