Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum )
Copyright: Diane P. Brooks
The leaves of this flowering herb are the most unique aspect of the plant. Green, pointed, and long like a jagged kite tail, Boneset leaves fill the body of this two to four foot tall plant.
The flowers are white and made of many individual buds that give an overall dreamy or fuzzy look to the plant. The flower blooms in late summer. Boneset is healthiest in well watered earth or woods and swampland.
