We found our first Giant Swallowtail caterpillar in our garden. The first tip to finding caterpillars is knowing the host plant and, of course, including it in your garden. In this case we planted two small Prickly Ash trees specifically to attract the Giant Swallowtail. It is always exciting when the butterflies we wish to attract to our garden find the host plants we provide for them.
