My sister-in-law passed away suddenly without me getting to say goodbye to her and tell her how much I loved her. Within a week after her death, a small butterfly showed up on my deck and sat next to me as I waited for my dogs to do their nightly run in our fenced backyard.

Now every night at 7:30 the butterfly shows up, sits on my knee, on my shoulder, and even lands on my dogs. My husband has taken pictures of her, as I’m sure it’s my sister-in-law, and my family has even come over to see her.

It’s been over 2 months now and I’m not sure how long butterflies live, but I cherish the time with this little miracle and hope she keeps coming every night.
